This site is dedicated to the men and women who have accepted the
challenge of the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk.
On October 1, 1999, you will begin your long journey from Lake Lanier,
Georgia to downtown Atlanta--sixty (that's right 60) miles over three days.
You are bold. You are adventurous. You are tenacious.
You must be a little crazy.
If you are a Walker, Crew Member, Volunteer or Staff
Person, you can share your thoughts about this historic and daunting
experience, this journey along a path that may help save a woman's life.
We want to know what you're thinking. We want to know how you
feel. Why did you join the Walk? What progress have you made? What
obstacles have you faced?
Keep a journal and share some of your experiences online.
We're not looking for literary essays or philosophical
dissertations. We'd just like you to read the submission guidelines and then start writing.
